Trailblazing Pediatric Innovations: Dr. Satish Deopujari Honored at Global Nagpur Awards 2024
On December 8, 2024, the 11th Global Nagpur Awards ceremony, organized by Nagpur First, honored distinguished individuals from Nagpur who have achieved global recognition in their respective fields.
In the Healthcare category, Dr. Satish Deopujari was recognized for his pioneering innovations in pediatrics. Dr. Deopujari’s contributions include the development of critical-care applications, such as the Complete ABG (Arterial Blood Gas) Analysis App and the A-a Oxygen Gradient App, which are widely utilized by healthcare professionals for accurate patient assessments.
Additionally, he played a pivotal role in creating Prana-SetO2, India’s first indigenously developed non-invasive ventilator, designed to provide affordable and effective t. His collaboration with the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB) led to the development of the country’s first Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) studied oxygen helmet, enhancing non-invasive ventilation methods.
Dr. Deopujari’s commitment to interdisciplinary research is further exemplified by his establishment of the world’s first Lung Museum, aimed at educating both medical profpublic about respiratory health. His dedication to advancing pediatric care has earned him numerous accolades, including a recent patent for a novel method of measuring airway pressure near the carina, promising to revolutionize ventilatory management.
Due to prior commitments, Dr. Deopujari was unable to attend the award ceremony in person. Dr. Sangeeta Gedam graciously accepted the award on his behalf, conveying his e to the organizers and the community for their unwavering support.
